I read this whilst still an employee manager and I have to say that it still amazes me with the simplicity of the story (it’s in the form of a parable).
Simple tactics to develop a manager’s relationship with his or her people - so simple in fact that I found myself nodding and smiling as I read it back then and on many occasions since.
William Byham has made a challenging career experience much simpler and far more fun - and that’s a value to anyone who works within, or manages, a team.
From brand new Supervisors, through experienced managers to Senior Executives, anyone in the management chain can get something to ponder on in their own development from reading this great book!
